Jean-Pierre Dumas is an economist from Université Paris-Panthéon Sorbonne (DESS). He also holds diploma from ENSAE.

He has worked with INSEE and with the French Ministry of Development in Paris, and was the economic advisor of the President of Peru (Morales Bermudez). He has also worked for international development banks (ADB) and with the EU, WB, IMF.
